Geofoods Srl E-Shop reserves the right to change prices, descriptions, or availability for products on this Website at any time without prior notice. Pictures are merely an indication of the aspect and dimension of the products and do not constitute a guarantee of the quality of the products.
In case of sudden unavailability of some products due to causes that were not predictable during the placing of the order, Geofoods Srl will provide for the refunding of the ordered products, even after the email of the order confirmation is sent.
Handling of the order
The order is handled in the times specified in the summary page and in the email of the order confirmation. Geofoods Srl will not be held responsible for any inconvenience caused to you by delivery delays that do not depend on circumstances that were predictable by the parties when the confirmation of the order was sent.
Delivery
Deliveries are carried out during the usual working hours of the appointed courier to the delivery address you specify when placing your order.
It is your responsibility to verify the quantity and condition of the merchandise upon delivery. If you notice any evident damage or missing items, you must immediately notify it, by writing “received unchecked” (specifying the case, i.e. “ripped packaging”, “smashed packaging” etc.) on the courier delivery note, or inform immediately Geofoods Srl .
Once the delivery note is signed, you will not be able to complain about the goods. Any issue regarding the external integrity of the products shall be notified using the contacts provided by Geofoods Srl E-Shop. The goods will be stored and kept at the courier’s warehouse for 5 working days in case the delivery is repeatedly unsuccessful; if you don’t collect them after 5 working days, they will be returned to Geofoods Srl who, depending on your wishes, will issue a refund (shipping costs and perishable goods such as fresh truffles or frozen products are not refundable ), or will arrange for a new shipping and calculate any additional shipping costs.
Geofoods Srl will not be held responsible for delivery errors due to lack of information provided at the moment of the order, for products that were damaged after the delivery or for delays in the delivery caused by the courier.
RIGHT TO WITHDRAW
If the Customer who made a purchase on geofoods.it is a Consumer Customer, he/she has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract, without stating the reason, within 10 days.
The withdrawal period expires after 10 days from the day on which the Purchaser Consumer himself/herself or a third party designated by him/her, other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the assets.
In the case of contracts relating to the delivery of multiple goods ordered by the Purchaser Consumer in a single order and delivered separately, or a substantial lot of goods or multiple pieces, the right of withdrawal expires after 10 days from the day on which the Purchaser Consumer or a third party designated by him/her, other than the carrier, acquires the physical possession of the last product, lot or piece, respectively.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Purchaser Consumer is obliged to inform Geofoods srl of his/her explicit decision to withdraw from the contract by registered letter A / R, addressed to: c/o Web orders, Geofoods srl, Via Aspromonte Bucchi, 18 – 06012 Città di Castello (PG) or by e-mail to the following e-mail address: e-shop@geofoods.it. To comply with the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for the Purchaser Consumer to send the communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
EFFECTS OF WITHDRAWAL
If the Purchaser Consumer withdraws from the contract, all payments made to Geofoods srl will be reimbursed, including delivery costs where applicable (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the choice of the Purchaser Consumer of a type of delivery different from the less expensive type of standard delivery offered by Geofoods srl), without undue delay and in any case within 10 days from the date in which Geofoods srl has received the notice of withdrawal.
The refund will be performed by using the same payment method used by the Purchasing Consumer for the initial transaction, unless the latter has expressly agreed otherwise; in any case, the Purchaser Consumer will not incur any costs as a consequence of such reimbursement. The refund can be put on hold until the actual receipt of the goods.
If the Purchaser Consumer has already received the goods, he/she must send or return the goods to Geofoods srl, Via Aspromonte Bucchi, 18 – 06012 Città di Castello (PG) without undue delay and, in any case, within 14 days from the day on which he/she communicated the withdrawal to Geofoods srl. The deadline is met if the Purchaser Consumer sends back the goods before the 10-day period expires. The direct costs of returning the goods will be borne by the Purchasing Consumer.
The Purchaser Consumer is only responsible for the decrease in the value of the product, resulting from a handling of the product other than the necessary manipulation establishing its nature and characteristics
EXCLUSIONS
The right of withdrawal is excluded, as well as in cases where the customer is not a Purchaser Consumer in accordance with the Consumer Code, or requesting an invoice, or in the event that the compensation does not exceed 50 euros, even in the event of:
- order of products that risk deteriorating or are expiring rapidly.
- order of sealed products that are not suitable for being returned due to hygienic reasons or health protection related or which items have been opened after delivery.
- order of Custom-made products at the request of the Purchasing Consumer.
The right of withdrawal is only applicable for products purchased on the website geofoods.it, which can be returned to Geofoods srl and re-marketed without posing danger to the health of consumers.
Warranty
The merchandise and the services you buy come with a warranty. Except all food products, the warranty period is 24 months starting from the day of the delivery and the flaws shall be notified to Geofoods Srl within 2 months since they were noticed. To use the warranty, you shall send an email to Geofoods Srl indicating the order number and a detailed description of the flaws (we suggest attaching pictures).
All elements will be verified by Geofoods Srl. Should the presence of the flaw be ascertained, you have the right to obtain the reparation or replacement of the product after it is returned to Geofoods Srl. A reduction of the price or the ending of the contract can be asked if: the reparation or replacement is too expensive or not possible; Geofoods Srl has not repaired or replaced the product within acceptable time (not sooner than 15 days); the reparation or replacement has proven to be reason of inconveniences for you. Withdrawal and termination of the account
Once you are registered on the Website, you may deactivate your account, ask for it to be cancelled or suspend the use of the service at any moment through the specific section on Geofoods Srl E-Shop or by contacting directly Geofoods Srl .
In case of violation of these present Terms and Conditions, Geofoods Srl reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any moment and without prior notice.
